On July 28, 2025, New York City lost a hero. Officer Didarul Islam, a dedicated member of the NYPD, tragically lost his life while protecting the citizens he swore to serve. Officer Islam, a devoted husband and father of two—soon to be three—leaves behind a legacy of bravery, commitment, and selflessness.
